Custom IO driver

Is it possible to develop custom drivers for devices wich use proprietary communication protocols? Are there any examples?

You can use the REXLANG programmable function block to implement specific communication protocols. Examples of data exchange are included in our GitHub repository, links in the Downloads section. Go into the "Integrating_external_devices" directory.
