How to put a password to protect my rexcore ? What is the best procedure ?
thank you for your reply

Hi geocipo,
password-protecting RexCore is possible, but this will disable your HMI (the current version of HMI is not able to connect to a protected RexCore).
If you still want to use HMI, the only option is to use HTTP authentification which you can setup in the lighttpd webserver configuration.
Please let me know which option is more suitable for your needs.

I tried the mod_auth lighttpd but can not connect via iphone, ipad , apple even with chrome , firefox etc.
I would secure my raspberry because I have a lot of attempted connections. it crash 1 to week .
I changed the port 22 , changed the password . I liked also protect the webserver

Hi geocipo,
the bad news is that using iPad/iPhone and HMI on a secured lighttpd webserver is a problem. The good news is that we know about it and our developers are working on it.
Do you have a chance to try it on a Windows machine with Firefox or Chrome? Or some Android smartphone/tablet? The HMI should work on these even with a secured lighttpd webserver.

Hello,
Yes I had the opportunity to use it on windows / android and his works . I'll wait until the problem is resolved to use an iPad . Thank you for your reply ( I do not look for why it does not work)
