Annotations in RexDraw

How can I add annotations in RexDraw?

At the moment I just copy them from the examples and change the text but that is not the way to go I guess.....

Simply doubleclick where you want to put your annotation. Must be in a blank area where neither block nor line is present.

Thanks....feel stupid now :-) . It's almost a miracle that I never abusively double clicked in an empty space before....
