Slow editing in Inkscape
Why does it take so much time every-time I want to close the 'edit element' window....? (more than 5 seconds)
It seems that the more elements on your drawing the longer it takes.

How many elements and connection strings do you have in your HMI? So far nobody reported such a problem...

Not so much....around 30 elements I guess.
I noticed in in 'Task manager' that Inkscape was using 270Mb of memory, after closing and restarting it went back to 75Mb with the same project opened. So restarting Inkscape from time to time solves my problem. I must admit that I leave the program sometimes running for a few days without closing.
