[OBSOLETE] Error: Access denied by REX security mechanism

Received the "Access denied by REX security mechanism" error?

You probably used pi/raspberry (or whatever your system credentials are) in the connection dialog of RexDraw/RexView.

By default, there is no user/password. Please leave the fields blank.

I get this message even when i leave the user and password fields blank
Any ideas?

This was valid in version 2.10.x, which is now considered obsolete. Please find the default login and password for version 2.50.x and above here.
