Hi All,
Small question,
I'm using the Monarco to talk RS485 to a device. The device can only use a baud rate of 9600, yet to get the Modbus to communicate I have to set the Modbus config in the Hat to use a rate of 115200. Why would this happen? Or have I done something silly.
Cheers

Hi Mike,
the explanation is given here: http://support.rexygen.com/knowledge_ba … onarco-hat
Your observation is correct. In Modbus configuration, you use 115200 baudrate, that's for the internal UART communication, see the link above. In Monarco HAT driver, you set 9600 baudrate. That's the external RS485 baudrate.
Does this answer your question?
Kind regards,
Jaroslav
