Hi All,
Can the analogue output on the Monarco Hat be scaled to 0-5v? I have a motor drive that requires it for speed control.
The drive also has a 0-5v output for current monitoring. If required too, I assume I can just scale the analogue input to for better resolution using the LIN block for this? But the standard AIN should be fine, it would just not read past 5v?
Cheers

Hi Mike,
there is no such possibility within the Monarco HAT firmware or hardware. The only possibility is to use AIN/AOUT as it is and simply use only a half of the range. You can use the SAT block for limiting the output to 0-5V range.
For input, you can use the LIN block for scaling the data, but this has nothing to do with resolution.
Kind regards,
Jaroslav

Hi Jaroslav,
I though that was the case, just checking. That will work just fine for what I need.
