G'day Boffins,
I'm trying to access a text log file and I can't seem to find the directory that this would be in on the Pi.
The readme I'm using says it would be in the /rex/data folder on Linux. I can't seem to find anything rex related except the rex-install-pi folder.
any ideas?
Kind regards,
Bill Watson

Gah! found it. it's not in the home directory, i.e. /home/rex/data, it's just /rex/data.

Hello Bill,
EDIT: first, I didn't realised that we are talking about "Logging to text file" example. So yes, the text log file generated by this example is located in "/rex/data" folder.
My prior answer is related to the REX Core System log:
System log file can be configured by modifying configuration options in the "/rex/rexcore/rexcore.cfg" file - see REX Core User Guide:
https://www.rexcontrols.com/media/2.50. … pdf#page=5
Focus on "log.file.enabled" and "log.file" options in order to enable/disable System log file and set the System log file location (relative to REX root folder - /rex/).
I hope the above is useful to you. If you require any further information, let me know.
Regards, Tomas
