I installed the Monarco HAT and I am unable to communicate to the board using the TTY interface.
Is the Monarco Hat using pins #8 TXD0 and #10 RXD0 to communicate to the Raspberry PI.
The PI does send the data (input for the Password) but I can't talk to the PI.
If I remove the Monarco adapter the interface works.
I will try to install REX 2.50 and the the driver for the Monarco.
I will add the Monarco HAT and see if I can then use the REX draw and REX View to control the project.

Hi jima02333,
that's because the Monarco HAT occupies the UART of the Raspberry Pi. It is used for RS485 communication. Please use e.g. PuTTY to access the command line of the Raspberry Pi from your desktop or laptop PC via Ethernet connection. Here is a direct link to PuTTY executable for Windows.
Let me know if you have difficulties accessing the Raspberry Pi this way.

Jaroslav,
I should have told you that my connection is using a USB to TTY adapter, direct connect.
I will give it a try, I use the PuTTY as the program for the USB and did not try to connect thru Ethernet.
Thanks for you help
Jim
