Excel example

If I remember well then there was an example with an Excel sheet (with macros), is this example still available somewhere?

Hi scoobsalamander,
that was a very fragile example for very specific application, which was the reason to remove it. Before digging deeper into this, can you please describe your goal? What are you trying to achieve with REX and Excel?

...and  if you want to use the MONARCO HAT as a data logger it might be possible to use this Excel sheet to make some automatic daily reporting system.

Oh yes, that topic. Very fruitful and inspiring, you touched a lot of topics which need deeper explanation... Once I get back from SPS/IPC next week, we'll focus on that.

As for the Excel example, consider it an outdated technology for the moment. If it turns out that it is indeed necessary to achieve your goal, we'll focus on that later.

It's not that I need such a feature, it was actually only to provide an additional solution to the problem in the above mentioned topic/post.

But it would be a cool feature to be able to send automatically a daily/weekly report with some graphs and tables (on a predefined template with a company logo for example).
